Design Engineer (ICT)
Engineering role in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of ICT system design and engineering principles.
- Ability to prepare and review ICT layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of telecommunications, networking, structured cabling, and related systems.
- Ability to coordinate ICT designs with architectural, electrical, mechanical, and other project requirements.
- Good analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support installation teams with design clarification and technical guidance.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of total professional experience after graduation.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in ICT design, installation, and supervision.
- Experience working on construction, infrastructure, or building projects is preferred.
- Practical exposure to coordinating design requirements with site execution teams.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Computer, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in ICT design and related engineering works.
- Ability to understand engineering specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Good coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver technical work within project requirements.
