Senior Mechanical Engineer
Engineering role in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design, installation, and site supervision.
- Ability to oversee mechanical systems and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Strong understanding of mechanical works associated with large-scale building projects.
- Ability to coordinate mechanical activities with civil, electrical, architectural, and other engineering teams.
- Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to supervise contractors and monitor site execution.
- Good knowledge of project documentation, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of total professional experience after graduation.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design, installation, and supervision.
- Experience working on multi-storey building projects is required.
- Proven ability to manage mechanical works across different stages of project execution.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary construction teams will be an advantage.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong practical experience in mechanical design and installation supervision.
- Experience working on multi-storey or large-scale building projects.
- Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and project management capabilities.
- Commitment to maintaining project quality, safety, and technical standards.
