Site Engineer (ICT)
Engineering role in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Skills Required
- Practical knowledge of ICT installation and site execution.
- Ability to supervise ICT works and ensure installation follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of structured cabling, telecommunications, networking, and other ICT site activities.
- Ability to monitor site progress, quality, and workmanship.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, engineers, and other site teams.
- Strong awareness of site safety and quality requirements.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of total professional experience after graduation.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in ICT works.
- Experience in building, construction, infrastructure, or similar projects is preferred.
- Practical site experience in ICT installation and supervision is essential.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a relevant field, or NDT/HNDE, along with the necessary professional certifications.
- Practical understanding of ICT systems and installation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Capable of monitoring site activities and reporting project progress.
- Strong communication, coordination, and site management skills.
- Willingness to work in a project/site-based environment.
